I am writing two stories and i am thinking of a third one to write as well that are Ghost stories i am wondering rather the spirits of Ghosts can be reincarnated in new bodies. The third one is much different from the first two Ghost stories. I am just curious and wondering if Ghosts or spirits can be reincarnated into a different body. From the body they originally died in. If anybody can explain to me about this that will be great because i would like to know about it.

In short, the answer to your question is yes and no. Reincarnation is a major part of Eastern Religions (Hinduism, Buddhism, and I believe Shinto, to a lesser extent), however there wasn't normally a period of time between the death of the original being and the birth of the reincarnation. In laymen's terms, a ghost isn't usually reincarnated, making the answer to your question no. That being said, reincarnating ghosts is a popular plot twist these days; I recall the end of Night At The Museum 2 had Amelia Earhart 'reincarnated'. I think you should go ahead and write your story how you like.
