*appears in a cloud of black and red smoke* My friends... Welcome to the Cirque du Muerte, home of the world's most amazing illusions.
---
Hello, all. I'm Jezzy and this will be my home base for the year. I have several things planned but I'm not sure exactly when and how they'll be tackled. So far, I have (quickly):
- Cirque du Muerte (series)
The Cirque is home to all manner of 'others' - vampires, were-animals, witches, zombies, demons - masquerading as ordinary people with extraordinary talents. The illusion is maintained carefully by the ringleader and Master Vamp, Kelsynger, allowing them to live without persecution from the 'normal' world.
- OtherWorld (series)
This was the one started for GothNo. Simon's actions have caused strife and strain on the ties between the vampire and human-controlled sides of the world. Conflict is brewing and there is little anyone can do to tame the storm. The Council cannot risk a war. (The tension grows through each book as we move up the ranks of the vampire society, eventually reaching the Council.)
Those are the main two I'm considering playing with right now. There's a fair bit I can do with them (I just have to get through NaNoWriMo first).
So, until the Gothic New Year, dears~ I'll see you December 1st!

Thanks guys~ *squeal* I'm looking forward to this year like nobody's business (which is an odd phrase, really).
I actually made a poster for the Cirque today... because that's the kind of thing I do with free time. /gothgeek

And you didn't share it?? I would love to see!! (I'd love to make free time to make stuff like that for my stories, too. Maybe I'd write them better.)

I agree with Daemora! I'd love to see a poster for Cirque! Perhaps we could make an art thread for people to share Banners, Winner's Certificates, Character Art, and Covers/posters? (And who ever said geeky was a bad thing? ) Just a thought. PS- Both of your stories sound phenomenal! Cirque sounds like it's going to be one hell of a story (pardon moi francais). There's a lot that could happen to disrupt the status quo in Cirque, which is what makes it so enticing.

Wow... Wasn't expecting that. *thinks* It's really simple but I think it looks cool. Maybe I can put a 'gallery' section in the library so we can all share? *thinking out loud* (Geeky is never a bad thing in my book ) Thanks so much~ I'm just glad people seem to think my ideas might be worth reading ^^

The Gallery is open~ So all you artistic people can share ^^ I doubt I'll be making much so I'm just going to leave this one here and wonder back to the writing world. (I'm so behind OTL) I hope everyone's doing well with planning and/or NaNo! (I can't wait~! *ruffles notebook pages*)

NaNoWriMo will be completed. And on time, no less ^^
Thanks for everyone's help with the unicorn questions! I cleaned up a few things in the notes thanks to you guys.
This isn't much of an update but you'll get more consistent stuff once December hits and I start editing. Not sure that piece really fits the label 'Gothic' but it is rather dark in spots... hmm...

Glad to hear you're on track with NaNo. Just in time to start the countdown to GothNoWriYe! I'm really glad you put in the editing choice as a challenge. I had intended to do book three in the Malmont Vampires series, but my rough drafts are all screaming "Edit me, edit me!" So I'm going to do that in December. I may tinker with some new stuff. But I am starting to get VERY agitated about having five drafts and not one finished book. Time to get serious.

Good luck on everything, Jezzy!!
Wolfyone - I don't blame you for wanting to get some edits out of the way.

Okay, so...
I've been clipping around and reading things about writing and planning... and doing some writing and planning. I'm jumping back and forth between so many projects though. I did realise something though: If I can just keep things as f[]ing quality as I know I am, I should be fine.
I'm also toying with the idea of just being an Indie author. I mean, like, have a label but have it be my label. Any comments, suggestions, things like that?
(Also, if anyone here is also on Arrow of Eloquence, the ballroom is open and it's looking a little empty. /shameless plug)
'Editing' this month really means 'Rewriting' so yeah. Doing that a lot.
I'm thinking all the little challenge broads need like - I don't know - smaller challenges specific to the month in them? Maybe? (Just a random thought late at night.)
I have a new theme for my blogspot blog and I love it. On that last bit of completely irrelevant news, I really need to sleep because I've returned to my nocturnal schedule and it's almost six in the morning here.
I'll be back when I'm slightly more coherent. I hope you all are having fun and doing well this month~
